Line 5 Overview

Line 5 of the Kunming Metro began construction in 2016 and opened on 29 June 2022. It runs between World Horti-Expo Garden and Baofeng. The line is 26.45 kilometers long and has a total of 22 stations. It is one of the newer lines in the system and runs through central Kunming. The line also has interchange connections with Lines 2 and 4 at North Railway Station, and with Line 3 at Wuyi Road.
