Line 6 Overview
Line 6 of the Kunming Metro opened on June 28, 2012, and is also known as the Airport Line. It runs between Kunming Changshui International Airport and Tangxiang. The line is 25.3 kilometers long and has eight stations. It was later extended in September 2020 to reach closer to the city center. The line provides a direct connection between the airport and the urban area, and also includes interchange stations with other metro lines such as Lines 2, 3, and 4.
