Line 3 Overview

The main line of Line 3 opened in phases starting December 26, 2005, and now runs from Airport North to Haibang. It follows a Y-shaped route and includes major districts such as Baiyun, Tianhe, Haizhu, and Panyu. The line is entirely underground and has a large number of stations throughout the city. Over time, it has been expanded in both north and south directions, with the latest extension to Haibang opening in 2024.
