Line 7 Overview
Line 7 of the Shanghai Metro was inaugurated on December 5, 2009, between Shanghai University and Huamu Road. In 2010, the line was extended northward to Melan Lake. This line runs between Melan Lake and Huamu Road. It is approximately 44.2 kilometers long and has a total of 33 stations. This line also provides access to the Shanghai New International Expo Center and several important interchange stations on the network.
