Line 1 Overview
Line 1 opened on July 28, 2004, becoming Wuhan's first metro line. It is known for having one of the world's longest continuous metro viaducts. Its initial section opened between Huangpu Road and Zhongguan, and was later expanded several times toward Hankou North and Jinghe. It is 38 kilometers long, with 32 stations. It connects to important lines including Line 2, Line 3, Line 5, and Line 6.
