Line 11 Overview
Wuhan Metro Line 11 began operations on October 1, 2018, with the opening of the section between Wuhandong Railway Station and Zhuoling. The line was later extended to Gedianan Railway Station in 2021, making it the first inter-city metro line connecting Wuhan and Ezhou. In December 2024, the western extension towards Wuchang Railway Station East Square and Jiang'an Road opened, further expanding the route. The line is 39.8 km long and has 23 stations. Interchange stations on this line include Huquan, Optics Valley Square, Wuhandong Railway Station, Mafangshan, and Guanggu Fifth Road. The line also provides a direct connection to Gedianan Railway Station in Ezhou, facilitating regional travel between the two cities.
