Capital Airport Line Overview
The Capital Airport Express opened on July 19, 2008, between Dongzhimen and Beijing Capital International Airport. This 28-kilometer line has four stations and was built to provide a direct and fast rail connection between central Beijing and the airport before the 2008 Olympic Games. It runs from Dongzhimen via Sanyuanqiao to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of the airport. It connects with Lines 2, 10, 13, and 5, providing direct high-speed access to the airport.
