U3 Line Overview
The U3 line was opened on October 12, 1913, between Wittenbergplatz and Thielplatz, connecting central Berlin with the Dahlem residential and university district. The line was later extended to Krumme Lanke in 1929. In May 2018, the modern U3 route was extended from Nollendorfplatz to Warschauer Strasse, sharing tracks with the U1 line. The U3 line is approximately 18.9 kilometers long and has 24 stations.
