Line 11 Overview
Line 11 was inaugurated on November 16, 1998, and was initially built between Plaza Elíptica and Pan Bendito. In 2006, the line was extended to La Peseta and Carabanchel Alto, and on October 18, 2010, it reached La Fortuna station in Leganés. The line is 8.5 kilometers long and has seven stations. It also connects with Madrid Metro Line 6 at Plaza Elíptica station, improving connectivity between southern Madrid and Leganés.
