Line 7 Overview
Line 7 was inaugurated on July 17, 1974, and constructed in several phases. The line originally ran between Pueblo Nuevo and Las Musas, and was extended in 2007 via the Metroeste branch to Pitín in the west and Hospital del Henares in the east. The line is 32.9 kilometers long and has 31 stations. It also provides interchange facilities for several metro lines and Cercanías Madrid services at Pitín station, improving connectivity between the eastern suburbs and central Madrid.
