Line 8 Overview
Line 8 was inaugurated on June 24, 1998, between Mar de Cristal and Campo de las Naciones to provide better access to IFEMA and Madrid-Barajas Airport. The line was later extended to Nuevos Ministerios in 2002 and to Aeropuerto T4 in 2007. The line is 16.5 kilometers long and has eight stations. It also provides direct access to Madrid Metro lines 4, 6, and 10, Cercanías Madrid services, and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
